Reviews and Ratings
Despite the outdated decor from the '80s and poorly furnished rooms with a grotty bathroom, my stay was still enjoyable thanks to the relaxing and warm atmosphere. The beautiful grounds and building added a touch of charm. The service was really helpful and the staff were polite. The location was perfect, close to coastal walks and offering a quiet retreat with a unique view of Highland cattle on the grounds. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with good food overall but the occasional overcooked dish. Overall, the hotel provided a mix of positives and negatives for a memorable stay.
My stay at the Muthu Newton Hotel was quite impressive. The rooms were quite large for a single person and offered very relaxing views of trees and shrubs. The service was lovely and very professional, adding to the overall peace and relaxation of the hotel. The location was peaceful and ideal for walks by the sea and countryside. The dining experience was pre-ordered and good, enhancing my overall enjoyment of the stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms had a good homely atmosphere but were a bit noisy due to their proximity to a mechanical room. The service was excellent, with attentive staff, although there were some issues with additional charges for meals. The location, set in a beautiful wooded garden park, was relaxing but a bit far from the beach and town center. The dining experience was a hit-or-miss, with some meals better than others, and the facilities were decent overall.
The hotel had some surprises with accessing the room but overall offered comfortable accommodations. The service from all staff members stood out for being very courteous and helpful. The beautiful yet remote location provided a mixed experience with some disappointing dining options. The facilities were satisfactory, with room for improvement in certain areas.
My stay at Muthu Newton was superb overall. I would certainly recommend this hotel for an overnight stay. The rooms had some issues with odd shapes and dark furnishings, plus views were mixed. The service was extremely pleasant and efficient, with a few minor frustrations. The location, with its Highland feel and proximity to town, was excellent. The dining experience had some lows and highs. Facilities were decent, though not perfect.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of pleasant and disappointing experiences. The location was superb, near the beautiful coastal town of Nairn, and the room was quiet and spacious, although the view of old carpets and branches in the back garden was not ideal. The service, while mostly friendly, had some hiccups with a waiter/manager. The dining options were good, especially the fresh products, but there was room for improvement. Overall, a decent stay considering the value for money.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with good facilities but has a complex layout for access. The service is friendly and helpful, though the dining could be improved. The location is ideal for historical visits but requires taxis for other outings.
My stay at this hotel was truly a mix of highs and lows. The rooms were incredibly spacious and elegantly furnished, providing a perfect blend of comfort and style. The service was excellent, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. The location had a picturesque and peaceful charm, although some improvement is needed in parking facilities. The dining experience, unfortunately, fell short due to understaffing, but the facilities overall were satisfactory.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, while warm and comfortable, could feel a bit depressing at times. However, one of the rooms I stayed in was of lower quality due to an old bed, weak shower, and poor socket placement. On the bright side, my other room was very spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom overlooking the garden.
